We recommend the bullet as a very well-built 2-wheel scooter for boys age 5 to, with any luck, age 99. It has a max rider load of 220lbs so it is a good scooter to share within the family. The grey-green brushed metal is a very cool color, not even a little girly, but may be ok for the older girls. The black wheels are cool looking and excellent quality - they are VERY thick and Italian-made especially for micro, so this scooter is reliably smooth-gliding. It also is durable, as it was originally designed as one of micro's first stunt scooters.
This scooter really separates itself from the mass market brands - it really shines in the design and quality categories - but also looks similar enough for people to be immediately comfortable with it.Perfect for those who want a great basic scooter with something more - quality construction and a cool style. DETAILS
The anodized metal-grey finish and black wheels give the bullet its sleek look. The black wheels are of highest quality 87A polyurethane and sized at 120mm (4.7 in), larger than most other scooter's. The ABEC 5 precision bearings give the bullet a smooth, quiet ride, even on bumpy sidewalks.
Designed to be a solid mode of transport as well as a fun way to bust a few laps, the Bullet's solid aluminum alloy construction means it is surprisingly light weight (only 6.5 lbs), but solid enough for adults (up to 220 lbs) as well as kids. The adjustable handle bars extend to 12" to accommodate riders in a wide range of heights.
The Bullet is equipped with a patented folding system for easy portability and a holder for the handy shoulder strap.
The spring-loaded back brake over the rear wheel offers plenty of easy and safe stopping power, and the aluminum deck with sandblasted riding surface makes for no-slip sure footing.
The padded foam handle grips are made from the highest quality non-toxic materials, with rounded rubber plugs on the ends of the handle bars to prevent injury or damage if the scooter falls to the ground.
The modular construction of all kick® scooters by micro means that all parts are completely replaceable. And, Kickboard USA maintains a comprehensive Parts and Repair Service with staff available to answer questions and to handle repairs whenever need be.
Domestic Advice - We don't want to interfere with the domestic habits of our customers, but for the record, the bullet can be ridden inside, because the polyurethane wheels don't leave marks....it is kind of fun.
