I can't say enough about your scooters. They are hands down the best toy - I often say if I had to pick one toy to take on a desert island it would be your scooters (presuming the island was paved of course). Two of my kids have graduated to the Maxi scooter and they continue to have a blast. We live in the desert and even in these harsh conditions these scooters last and continue to perform.

We love your scooters! They are rock star cool and so easy to use. Not only are they stable and safe but also agile and zippy! These scooters manage to be lighter and more durable than the other children's models we test drove. I had no idea just how much use we'd be getting out of them... living just off the Venice Beach boardwalk, they're our primary mode of transportation on the weekends.

I have been a proud owner of your scooters for a few years now. It all started with a hand-me-down mini which my 18 month old took to right away. He loved it so much we searched on the web for one for his 6 year old brother. A couple of years later we own 3 minis and 1 maxi and would like to try a g-bike soon. We've given them as gifts and recommended them to everyone with a toddler.

Our 3.5 year old daughter and our 2 year old son are obsessed with their scooters. They improved their balance and skill very rapidly. Both go downhill with ease and can maneuver on their own... which is amazing considering how young they both are.

The stability of this product is unmatched, the colors phenomenal and so easy to assemble (huge in the eyes of the parents). We don't leave home without our kick scooters.

Thank you for making my kids lives more fun and my life easier!’ I bought two mini scooters for my children ages 3 and 5. I have two children and two different reasons why I love this scooter. My five year old is generally very cautious and nervous about trying new riding toys. He stepped onto the scooter and was immediately racing down the street, making smooth, effortless turns, and within minutes had the break figured out. It was a real joy to...

We love the mini because it handles so well. A few kids on our block have different-brand scooters, with 2 wheels at the back instead of the front, and they don't work as well. The other kids usually want to trade with my daughter and have a turn on the mini scooter - it's just more fun!

My my younger son has a mini and my older son has the maxi with the pilot stick.

I cannot say enough great things about your products. My younger son has some mild motor developmental delay and the stability and ease of the great wheels on the mini mean that after only a few days of practicing on the mini he can whizz along and almost keep up with his older brother. It's something I thought I would never see!

My 2 1/2 year old son loves the mini kick scooter because it is so easy for him to use. The scooter stands up on its own and is very stable so he and the scooter aren't constantly falling over like he does with other scooters. The mini kick is great for encouraging large motor skill development and confidence in young children. We love the mini kick!

What I love about these scooters is that they go anywhere! We use them at the park, on our street and in the house when it is raining. (Cement floors are great for scootering on!) Every kid who walks through our door hops on and rides them around and around. They are sturdy enough for my 12 year old and the maxi holds me and my husband too! The best thing about these scooters is that they don't swing around and hit you in the ankle like some of th...

We have a mini for our youngest daughter, now 3 ½, who has been riding it joyfully since she was 2 – the safety and balance it provides compared to other scooters is fantastic and gives her a sense of total confidence and power. We’ve taken it to skate parks and frequently zip the 1 mile downtown to save car trips, we love how compact it is and also bring it camping and on trips. She uses it to join us on runs and keeps up a good pace. When peopl...

Perfect scooter for my almost five year old! He picked up the pilot steering and was leaning into turns within 5-10 minutes. He was going down slopes and using the brake on the first day. Great stability and lightweight for young ones. Super smooth ride and super easy to adjust. I did lots of research before buying and I'm glad I did, this scooter rocks!

I did all the research and settled on the Maxi Kick for my son's 4th birthday present. He loves it! I was a little reluctant because it says ages 6-10, but he's tall for his age and I knew he'd outgrow the Mini too quickly. He had no problem figuring it out. Didn't even think twice about the joystick steering (as opposed to traditional handle bars). So smooth across the ground. I'd describe my son as above average in terms of coordination and bala...

I bought this for my slightly-smaller-than-average 5 year old daughter. I thought it might be too big for her, as the manufacturer claims that the Maxi Scooter is for 6-10 year olds. After waiting patiently while much larger children rode the display model in the toy store, my daughter began cruising around the store on the Maxi while calling it "her" scooter.

When we brought it home, I was pleased with the ease of assembly. It took my daughter...

We got this for our 6 year old boy after his younger brother was so enamored with the mini scooter made by the same company. Two things about this scooter are somewhat unique. First and most obviously is the "stick" handle and steering. The height is fully adjustable (my son adjusts the height on his on his own) and the design allows him to steer abit like he's holding a ski pole on a slalom ski course (or steering a helicopter, you get the idea)....

I bought my daughter a maxi scooter last summer. The scooter is SO much more stable than the Razor's. My daughter felt so confident on it and we were able to cruise around the city in a way that never would have been possible otherwise. We use it now to scoot the the park, errands -- I can hang my grocery bags on the handles and pull my daughter when she's tired -- it's that stable. Since coming back to LA I have been trying to spread the word ...

Mini BLUE

My son started riding at about 1.5 years old. It started with him standing on it while I pulled him by holding one side of the handle bars with one finger. We started to use it instead of a stroller. It was not long before he was doing it himself. He is three and a half now, and he is a wizard on the kickboard. He has great balance, and I think it has a lot to do with the kickboard. I would give this ten stars if I could.

Firstly, I do NOT write reviews. I just don't. Ever. However, I love this scooter so much that I will make an exception. I bought this scooter for my son for Christmas when he had just turned 3. He played on it for a year, scootering to and from his older sister's school to drop her and pick her up each day. Then, for one year, I walked him to pre-K and back five days a week (just over a mile each away) while he scootered merrily alongside on his ...

Both my boys have the Oppenheimer Mini-Kick and we all love it. It is a safe, durable and fast scooter. My 6 year old was still using the Mini even though he had grown way too tall and had other scooters to choose from. On his 7th b-day we bought him the pricey Maxi-Kick and it was worth every penney. I purchased this scooter for my 4 year old daughter. It was a replacement for the mini-kickboard that she rode into the ground. Yes, it is pricey compared to other scooters, but this thing is so well made that it is worth the money. Additionally, the confidence that it gives my daughter while zooming around my neighborhood is priceless. I was not a fan of the purple as seen on the website, but it looks much better in person.

“What really made my eight-year-old take a second look though was the pilot steering which uses a cool joy stick handle instead of the traditional “T”-bar scooter handle that her little brother is still using. With the lean-to-turn technique she easily picked up when she was still a toddler, she was ruising and carving turns like a skateboarder but without all the falls. (Also a bonus for nervous moms.)”

Never in a million years did I ever think I'd be spending almost $200 on a scooter!! But feeling left out watching my niece and nephew grow up on their scooters and now my 3 year old daughter starting to ride, I didn’t want to feel left out again.

I've had several scooters now for the past 10 years and got this one in May 2010. It is heavier than the ones I had in the past but definitely very well made and much stronger. The weight actually helps with the momentum as well when kicking. It is very comfortable to ride and the big wheels (20mm or approx. 8") makes riding on small cracks a breeze, very forgiving and thus much safer. I love it and would definitely recommend it to adult or kid bi...

The thing we liked most about it is the way it rides. Steering is performed through a lean-and-steer mechanism, meaning that you don’t steer the front tire(s) like a bike. Rather, you simply lean in the direction you wish to go … and the luggage follows suit.

It’s hard not to smile while zipping past other fumbling passengers at the airport, all the while feeling like you’re twelve years old again.
