Firstly, I do NOT write reviews. I just don't. Ever. However, I love this scooter so much that I will make an exception. I bought this scooter for my son for Christmas when he had just turned 3. He played on it for a year, scootering to and from his older sister's school to drop her and pick her up each day. Then, for one year, I walked him to pre-K and back five days a week (just over a mile each away) while he scootered merrily alongside on his Mini Kick. By the time he finished pre-K he was whooshing by so quickly and skilfully that kids stared in amazement and parents regularly passed comment: "Where did you get that scooter? It is so awesome!" - there are now kids all over town with Mini Kicks! Our son turned 5 this summer and has just started kindergarten. He's clearly outgrowing the three-wheeled scooter (and the wheels are getting worn - though they have taken so much of a consistent battering over so long a period that we're just amazed they lasted as long as they did). We're now upgrading to a Maxi Kick. His sister has a Razor scooter that we bought cheaply a few years back. We had no doubts when it came to his upgrade though. It had to be a Kickboard. Nothing else would do.
