If you are looking for a 2-wheel scooter, for either an adult or a child, the Sprite in Rusty Red is worth considering for its cool style, exceptional quality and great value. The Sprite features micro's best qualities, at a truly great price. The Italian-made wheels, made exclusively for micro, make it incredibly smooth gliding and the ride is beautifully quiet. Its solid construction means you won't shake and rattle when you roll!
The Sprite is ideal for most kids, as the lowest setting on its extendable t-bar is at 22 inches above the deck, making it very comfortable for kids as young as age 6 to master, and the t-bar extends to 34 inches, making it a nice ride for most adults at or below 5ft.11 in.
While all the 2-wheel scooters made by micro are designed to hold riders up to 220lbs, larger adults (above 5ft 11in and 175 lbs) will feel sturdier on one of our more robust 2-wheel scooters (we suggest the Black or the White, or the Blue Flex – these are micro's tallest, fastest and most elegant 2-wheel scooters.
So, as its elfin name suggests, the Sprites is most appropriate for smaller or lightweight adults, and for kids 5 years and up.
As a guide, two of our testers here at Kickboard USA love to ride the Sprite around the warehouse, and they say that the Sprite suits them, but only just – they are around 5ft 10-5ft 11 in height, and 175-180 lbs in weight...so they say:)
In addition to the rusty red color, the Sprite comes in 2 other hot colors....new black and silver. We really like both of those colors, but have completely fallen for the rusty red. For the record, our testers (male and in their early 20’s) both like the black.
