Parents Choice Awards: Approved

Millions of parents, grandparents and storekeepers have been using Parents’ Choice as a guide to children’s products since 1978.

Parents’ Choice recommends toys with staying power, and strives to provide parents with reliable unbiased information about tools to help their children learn and explore new challenges.

The Parents’ Choice Foundation strives to search out and recommend products that help kids grow – imaginatively, physically, morally and mentally—fairly priced products that are fun, safe and socially sound.

It’s that simple. And it’s that complex.

Here is what Parents Choice had to say about the Maxi:

The Maxi Kick Scooter is a well designed, and much welcomed, addition to the world of kick scooters. Its sturdy construction and three-wheeled design allow younger children with less developed balance to keep up with the "big kids." It encourages children to get outside and increase their physical activity in a fun and safe manner. The packaging and product insert both detail scooter safety rules in clear illustrations.

No other Design Award sets its entrants such a strict criterion. Because of this the Design Award of the Federal Republic of Germany is called the "prize of prizes" by many opinion leaders in the world of design. Companies cannot enter the Design Award; they are nominated by the Ministries and Senators for Trade & Industry of the German States or by the Federal Ministry of Economics and Technology.
